Zebrawood Wardrobe

This wardrobe was a birthday gift from a client to his wife – what a birthday!

The curved-front wardrobe was made in zebrawood with macassar ebony drawers and anodized aluminum pulls.  The inspiration for both the client and myself was my Levitating Display Cabinet below:

Three Worlds Conference Table

The road was the only space large enough for a full assembly - good thing we're on a dead-end!

The Three Worlds conference table was a 21-foot long behemoth.  This was made  in Mahogany and quilted maple with wenge bordering for my favorite client.  We really got a workout moving the parts around the studio!

The heavy, curved base units, the long center beam and the support ribs give the top a "floating" look.

Shelter Island Dining Set

Here is a dining set created for a client on – you guessed it – Shelter Island, NY.  I have been working this client for several years and this was our first collaboration.  The client requested this modification to the Gazelle dining chairs, with the backs extending all the way down to the floor.

The expanding trestle table was designed from scratch for this project, and hides two leaves in its interior.
